MERDEKA ATAU MASIH DI JAJAH ?


PERUTUSAN HARI MERDEKA SOT

Hari ini tanggal 31 ogos, kita menyambut Hari Merdeka negara yg ke-64. Peringatan untuk warganegara, perihal hari Malaysia bebas drp penjajah. 

Malaysia negara bertuah dan strategik ini pernah di jajah portugis, jepun, siam, dan british. Walau sudah 64 tahun bebas merdeka di segi fisikal, namun byk lagi pengaruh penjajah yg masih kita ikut dan melekat dlm kehidupan. 

Seharusnya sgala pengaruh penjajah dpt dikikis satu persatu. Tingkatkan identiti dan jatidiri sendiri. Tanah Melayu sudah bertukar menjadi tanah pelbagai bangsa, kaum, dan agama. Acap kali ada suara2 sumbang yg cuba menghapuskan hak2 keistimewaan orang melayu. Istimewanya definasi bangsa melayu di negara kita ialah dia mesti beragama Islam. Masya-Allah. Ini menjadi kecemburuan ramai pihak. Hingga sudah menjadi satu kebiasaan bila seseorang masuk islam disamakan dengan masuk melayu. Pemisahan antara agama dan politik juga merupakan satu doktrin yg juga dipahatkan oleh pihak penjajah di minda umat Malaysia.

Tidak dinafi ada juga perkara2 positif dan bagus yg mereka tinggalkan, terutamanya pihak British. Contohnya sistem perladangan berskala besar klapa sawit & getah. Kita juga masih utuh menggunakan sistem perundangan dan perlembagaan yg mereka draft dan seal untuk kita hingga ke hari ini. Kita ada Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, dan bangunan2 lama colonial yg sewaktu dgnnya. Kita juga terus berbangga giler dapat bertutur dlm bahasa inggeris. 

Apakah minda penjajah masih subur walaupun sudah lama TAR melaungkan kalimat keramat di Stadium Merdeka pada 31 Ogos 1957 itu?

Pihak jepun meninggalkan trademark ekonomi mereka untuk terus menjajah seperti selipar jepun, iSetan, Daiso, Sushi King, Uniqlo, Sogo, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Kinokuniya, Nikon, Casio, Seiko, Sony, Toshiba, Pensonic, Canon, Mizuno, Asics, Toyo, Ultraman, dll sebagai branding yg familiar bagi rakyat Malaysia. Bravo!! 

Pihak siam terkenal dgn tomyam & tomoi, yang sudah menjadi sebahagian daripada budaya kita. Manakala portugis meninggalkan pusat pelancongan AFamosa & Ronaldo sebagai tumpuan utama rakyat Malaysia. Ha ha ..

Rupanya Belanda pun menjajah Malaysia jugak ya?
1. Portugis (1511-1641) - 130 tahun
2. Belanda (1641 - 1824) - 183 tahun
3. British (1824 - 1941) - 117 tahun
4. Jepun (1941 - 1945) - 4 tahun
5. British (1945 - 1957) - 12 tahun

Yang saya dapat recall tentang belanda ni ialah peribahasa melayu, seperti belanda minta tanah. Kalau tak silap depa mintak tanah sebelulang kulit lembu tu kan. Ropa2 nya dia potong halus jadi macam tali belulang tu. Bila di rentangkan luas beb, boleh jadi banglo lot 10,000 sqf kot. Dasar otak penjajah memanipulasi tuan tanah yg naive, baik hati, dan lurus bendul mcm forest gump.

Begitu banyak perubahan telah berlaku dari segi fizikal, sosial, ekonomi, dsb semenjak tahun 1957. Kita masih boleh berbangga dapat hidup dgn harmoni, aman dan damai di sebuah negara yg pesat membangun. 

Malah negara kita telah menjadi tumpuan utk jutaan warga asing hadir menumpang mencari rezki bagi menyara kehidupan keluarga di negara mereka. Ramai antara mereka (pati) sudah beranak pinak di sini. Kastam & Imigresen apa cer?

Kita juga tidak terlepas drp pelbagai ujian dan cobaan. Kini sudah dua tahun lebih landskap suasana dan norma kehidupan berubah asbab pandemik Covid-19 yg melanda seluruh dunia.

Justru tema Malaysia Prihatin kena pada tikanya. Wajar prihatin keperluan rakyat yg struggle dimusim yg payah ini. Usha utk mencapai imuniti kelompok mungkin berhasil menuju ke penghujung tahun ini. 

Maka harapan itu menjadi Hari Merdeka yg signifikan untuk sama2 kita raikan juga. Kita kembali bebas semula drp jajahan dan kekangan Covid-19. Merdeka !!!

98. Save yourself from covetousness (64:16)
